This pair of beautiful executive homes were built using Nudura ICF encapsulating the steel frame of a redundant agricultural barn. Using a combination of Nudura’s 6″ and 8″ systems to build around each steel member before concrete was poured to produce a a massively insulated shell.
The timber first floor was installed using Simpson StrongTie ICF ledger brackets.
Some great challenges on this project including pouring concrete with the original still roof on! A big positive was the successful use of our in house designed and built EPS cutter which eliminates cutting waste, produces perfect, factory standard cuts, saves time and minimises wastage. All massive bonuses to our install team and client alike.
